On so many levels not the least of which is scientific the Republicans and their medieval theories are about to be blasted. Not for the last time. They will catch up in a thousand years and by then they will acknowledge climate change. Of course stories depicted as "gospel truth" of creationism will hold sway among the under educated coal miners and farmers who have the most to gain from schooling. Be that as it may to keep the honest evaluation of Obama and Bain in context Mitt's latest bull roast and oyster extravaganza shows how little he understands the market he claims to represent. To say a managed bankruptcy is somehow different for GM and Chrysler than the government's real plan is facetious. He is depending on his oratory to blank out the minds of his evangelical followers. But to say Obama sold Chrysler to Fiat is a lie. Carlyle Group including cronies like Cheney were principle partners in Carlyle when it sold a bankrupt company to Fiat which was all to willing to field a beach head on America's shore for its cars. And of course building cars in China wouldn't be our first choice but it's a capitalist move. Caterpillar is there big time. If u haven't noticed Japan moved manufacturing to our domestic markets to save on duties and transportation costs, and to be friendlier to American customers. It's international baby. The difference is that Obama wants to give tax breaks for staying here as opposed to moving the operations off shore. You know old soiled pants Romney wouldn't know the difference. He's the front man. Empty. I would make a small wager that Mitt and Bain or some other investment vehicle of his was intimately involved with Carlyle. Absolutely.
