Of all the non sequiturs Romney tossed around like cole slaw this one from Gail's column resonates the loudest. Or is it the least? If something is bad in and of itself and it rings non true does it make noise when it is felled? I'll leave that to campaign advisers.

'"Romney followed up with a long disquisition on the virtues of two-parent families. (“But, gosh, to tell our kids that before they have babies, they ought to think about getting married to someone — that’s a great idea. ...”)

It was about here that he lost Nina Gonzalez. “Single mothers have enough problems. Leave them alone,” she said. “Why are we even talking about that? That’s not the issue.”'

This line from Romney must have put more people into deep comas then any other. He as unglued. Hemorrhaging. Hey folks they're asking me real questions in what some refer to as real time. Can't u give a fella a break? If pushed Romney would have combed his dye job and wilted. I am sure there is nobody behind that face. The suit is empty. His mannerisms speak of nothing. His lips move. His brain unattached. Romney is a cartoon character. Ask your children who most closely resembles his meanderings. A rodent? A moth? I don't understand why we praise wealth when the men and women with most of it are indignant when asked a simple question, and are profoundly empty. I don't know if one can be vapid and huge simultaneously. Ask professor Hooks. Ask Dr. Seuss. I would have love to hear the responses of cartoon characters to Romney.

If I were a Republican instead of hammering on the unemployment issue alone I'd ask people to ask me how I would improve it. Why make shallow claims? Oh the education system is in disarray.

Well we now know that Mitt started a small business. After it failed daddy bought him one. Where on earth does he find his words? A Magic 8 Ball? His background? He joined Bain. He married the LDS tot he Olympics. If I were an investor looking for a fish I'd say the winter olympics and his investment vehicle are hitched to the post. There is strong reason to believe the LDS and Romney comingle their funds. The Mormon church is widely held to be the dominant political and business force in Utah. It is without doubt that his fortunes are tied to theirs. If the church were a pubic entity we'd be investigating his criminal behavior. But for the church it is business as usual. The reason they do missions as a bureaucracy is for the money. No different than the Roman Church. It's a disgusting story. Same with evangelicals. So do individuals care who believe strongly in their faith. No. Thus Romney gets a walk and passes Go. Over and over. He is the American dream and the dilemma.
