Growing up we took Cit. Ed. which was renamed social studies after coming out of Chapter 11. In high school we studied the Peloponnesian Wars. What for? Vote. I think everyone in Australia votes because they will go to a prison if they don’t. Otherwise they wouldn’t bother and they’d be Americans.

So for all the spit balling about polls and debates and zillion dollar ad campaigns it all comes down to the comfort level. And so I quote from Justin Halpern’s book: Sh*t My Dad Says”.
