Good ideas met by moneyed interests are going to end up in the recycle bin along with yesterday’s tragedies. But when he touched on seat belts it lighted up the refrigerator light. Illuminati. Insurance requirements. No one investigates losses better than insurance companies. Imagine how Buffett would love to buy and sell derivatives on the damage done to bystanders in a movie theater, picnic ground, graduation ceremony, chapel, church, football stadium. I can the lords of Wall Street strapping on a traders vest and churn up the water to get a piece of the action. Example: require movie theaters to carry illegal weapons discharge insurance. They’d look like airports but they’d be safer. Perfect? Of course not. But we Americans react faster to money than food and oxygen.
